Started working on Chapter 7 already. However, I am just uploading page 2. Page 1 is the Chapter Cover for chapter 7 which I have not completed yet. Will upload later when it is done. Stay tune. This week a lot of sound effects.
Yesterday I managed to buy a new (display set) Sony ICD-SX850 voice recorder at 90% discount. This thing cost about US$300. A really capable and fantastic recorder with both line-in and line-out.

There is no update this week as I am on holiday this week in between chapters. Will continue again next week. This week is the 'school holidays' week and that contributed to 'not being able to work on comic' syndrome.

Have started work on Chapter 1 again. Today is a rainy day and there was flooding in the capital last week. Nearly got caught in it when it happened. Luckily, I just missed it. Anyway, just uploaded the last page (12) of chapter 6.

This is the second last page of Chapter 6. So we will be starting Chapter 7 soon. I will also need to work on the lost Chapter 1 again. It feels incomplete without chapter 1.

Celebrated my younger son's birthday yesterday. Had close family members over for lunch and dinner. Cooked my creamed chicken and corn gravy rice, a success as ususal. he he. Anyway, just uploaded page 10.

I have uploaded an EPUB version of the pilot volume onto iBooks Store. It is available on 32 stores at the moment. Download a copy if you want it on your iPad. Enjoy. Also just uploaded Page 9 of Chapter 6.

Just figured out how to do a fixed layout EPUB iBook for iPad yesterday. Working on one right now. Have just uploaded page 8 of Chapter 6.

Today is 'Chap Goh Mei' or the 15th day of Chinese New Year. Today many single people will buy oranges and write their name and mobile phone number on the oranges. Then they will toss the oranges into the sea or a river, hoping to find a wife or a husband. Anyway, I was down with flu over the weekend, nearly did not complete page 7. Fortunately, ts already uploaded.

It's a miracle! With the busy festival week last week, I still managed to complete page 6 of chapter 6. I also installed Apple iBook Author and is trying it out at the moment. Looks cool.

Today's is the 1st day of Chinese New Year and we are ushering in the year of the Water Dragon. I am not sure what a water dragon mean for this year. Should be good as water is always good (the chinese associate water with money). By some miracle I manage to complete page 5 of chapter 6 on the 22nd Jan ( half an hour ago). Now on the 23rd I am uploading it. Lots of traveling this week. Luckily it is also a long holiday. See you guys next week.

Only one more week to Chinese New Year. This is a time for taking leave from the day job to celebrate the festival. Seems to soon as we just celebrated Christmas and New Year recently. Still have not recovered from that. The good thing about these holidays is that it allows me time to work on the comic. He he. Today I uploaded another page..enjoy!

Decided to update earlier today as the comic page is finished. Just came back Ipoh (up north) as I was up there to attend my Mother-in-law's birthday dinner last night. It just occured to me that Steve Jobs may have been to Ipoh as it sound like iPoh (ha ha). Just kidding. Unless someone can explain to me what a 'Poh' is.

It's a new year and this is the first update of the year. Just came across Airplay Marmalade Game Engine. Thinking of using that for an iPad comic + game. Anyone used it before, can comment and let me know your experiences? Email me and let me know.

Boxing Day and also the start of Chapter 6. The current pages are easier to finish as Laggoo is in the White Zone and the background does not require a lot of details. This is going to be an interesting chapter!

We are now coming to the end of the year and also chapter 6. Since I will be taking sometime off from my day job to clear my year 2011 leave, I will have more time to work on more Laggoo pages. Hurrah! Yes, next Sunday is Christmas...

Thanks guys for following Laggoo comic. I do not have any new comic this week as I was away in Cambodia without the tools needed for the comic. As I will be on leave for a few days this month, I promise to catch up for the missing 2 weeks worth of comics.

This website uses static webpages. It is getting cumbersome to maintain with so many pages of comics. So I am now looking at Joomla! for its CMS capabilities. Am figuring out how to make the website easier to maintain and add more pages of comic. Currently this website has too little features or attractions.

Bought a Wacom Bamboo Stylus and an Adonit Jot Stylus for my iPad last week. I like both of them. The Bamboo is more pencil-like and is good for doing the pencil artwork. While the Adonit Jot feels like an 'Technical Drawing Pen' (if you know what those are) and is accurate and good for doing the pen and coloring work. I guess my trip to Singapore did not come to a waste.

Sorry I missed one week as I was away in Vietnam. However I have managed to upload a page today.
It is coming to the end of 2011 soon. And a new year is dawning on us. We are now experiencing more earthquake, heavy rain and flooding. Looks like we have to take care of our environment more before Mother Nature gets really angry and kick us hard in the butt. We need to work hard on recycling so that our world does not become that of Laggoo's Mars.

After thinking hard and long, I have decided to publish the iPhone formated comic pages in this webpage. So you will be able to read the new chapters now by clicking the 'comics' icon on the left. Enjoy.
